Julie got him to smile and have fun during the engagement session - is the perfect blend between the new soft tones we love in photography with still having an eye for an elegant, classy look. & the journalist feel! She worked with us for the engagement shoot to change in our cars - lol! But we made it work. Then Wedding day - wow! I cannot even begin to express how amazing the photos turned out. It was exactly what I wanted and more! The little things, comes prepared for the 'detail shots', catches me and my grandma holding hands, fixing my flower girl's hair, me and my mom crying looking at each other. The best part - 800+ photos! If you are looking for photos, unique tangible photo items (wooden box yessss!) after the wedding and photos you will cherish forever Julie is the one!

If you want a photographer who can capture your special moments without being overly posed and love to capture natural and candid moments of your special day, Julie is your lady! She is phenomenal at what she does and you can tell she takes pride not only in her work but the art in her photography style. From the get go you would think Julie was an old friend you havent seen in awhile she is so cordial and friendly and makes you feel soo comfortable and her sense of humor is great! My husband and I loved working with Julie, she is truly amazing at what she does, you will not regret choosing Catchfly Photography for your special day!

The best thing Doug and I did for our wedding day was have Julie there to capture every moment! No amount of stars will do it justice. Julie's photographs are not only breathtaking, but they are works of art. I am in awe every time I look back on all the beautiful moments Julie captured. We are so honored to be a part of her art! Doug and I were incredibly happy to have such a kind, thoughtful, and fun-loving person to document all our special moments. Thanks to Julie, we get to relive our happiest day over and over again. We cannot express how grateful we are to have you with us on our special day!

If I could give Julie six stars, that still wouldnt be enough she is the most talented, friendly, incredible photographer a person could possibly work with. I originally hired Julie to do surprise proposals pictures, and she despite not knowing the area or having met either my now-wife or I in person took incredible photos that perfectly captured the moment. From then on, we knew that Julie would be the person wed be working with throughout our engagement and wedding for photos. She is infectiously friendly, one of the best communicators I have ever met in my life and has an incredible skill for capturing natural-looking photos rather than a bunch of overly-posed shots. Neither my wife nor I had much in mind in terms of how we wanted our photos to look or shots we had to get, but Julie helped guide us through a timeline (that she made!) of our wedding day to help us think about what we might want at different times to make sure we really got everything we wanted. Julie is also an incredible family member wrangler and kept everybody in line and where they were supposed to be throughout the often-challenging portraits section of the day. Not only did she perfectly capture both the most important moments and most important emotions of our wedding day, she did so with crystal-clear, perfectly edited photos (despite a bit of a dark venue!) and delivered them to us incredibly quickly. Julie also proved to be an invaluable vault of knowledge about other vendors she recommended both our wedding DJ and hair/makeup artists and both of them absolutely exceeded any expectations we might have had about them. In sum, I literally cannot recommend Julie highly enough because we could not possibly be any happier with our experience with her. We will, without a doubt, be continuing to work with her for any future photo needs we may have because we really cant imagine anyone doing a better job!

I honestly dont know where to start! I was super overwhelmed trying to find our photographer since there are so many vendors. I found Julie on The Knot and read through some of the amazing reviews. I also read through her story which is remarkable, and her portfolio is stunning! I knew from our first call that I wanted her to be our photographer. She is so easy to work with and prompt with her communication. She is incredibly organized, detail oriented, and thoughtful. Julie helped us feel so comfortable and she truly has captured us at our best. On our wedding day she was so patient and any time I thought of a potential photo opportunity, she was already there - one step ahead of me. On top of all that she surprised us with our full gallery TWO days after our wedding!!! I could not recommend Julie enough!
