Sollars and Associates - Holland - Counseling and Psychology Services

I inquired about ADHD testing for myself in May of 2021. I had an initial intake consultation by phone with Erika which lasted about an hour or so. I paid my $30 copay via PayPal. And then I just never heard back from them to continue the process of ADHD testing. I would call periodically to see what was going on and they told me they were waiting for my insurance before they could proceed. Finally I just kind of forgot about it because life happened and here I am looking at a bill almost two years later for the $30 I already paid. I've seen similar reviews and wanted to chime in with my story. I'm disappointed.

We had Sollars do ADHD testing on our son this summer, and the person performing the test was super, but it's been 5 months, and they have yet to send us the results. Every time I call they say that they are waiting for payment from the insurance company before they can release the diagnosis (Company Policy), but I've talked to the insurance company, and they said they paid, then they told me how much they were charged, what the contractual discount was, what the allowed amount was (which after some research is within $5 of national average). They also gave me a check number. I've worked in insurance, this means they have been paid, but they refuse to help my son. Please, do not use them for testing, Go elsewhere even if the wait is longer to get an appointment. I can not speak for their counseling services, but their billing practices are questionable, and they don't put the patient first.

My experience with my therapist was great however Sollars couldn't get the Medicare and supplement insurance coordinated properly. Very shabby billing practices.

Sollars and staff were super! Really comfy lobby and quiet atmosphere. Put me at ease.
