Inaccurate hours posted online. They close at noon on Saturdays not at 1pm as listed online. Drove across town with a lot of cash to be turned back.

The TCF Novi branch is the worst. I have been to this branch several times, and as a business owner, I would never allow my managers to treat customers the way they run this branch. Leadership starts from the top-down, and the branch manager is very unprofessional. The branch manager refuses to meet with the customers to answer basic questions. The employees refer customers to the assistant branch manager Michelle to solve any banking concerns after the branch manager refuses. When you ask to speak with Michelle, bank tellers will lie and say she is not at the branch when you can see her in the back office. This has happened to a few others I know that have visited this branch also. I asked to speak with Michelle concerning a bank checking account matter. It was my first time talking with her or anyone about my account, and after the employee spoke with her, she told them to say she was out of the branch at the moment. The Tcf Novi branch is the only branch that I have seen that operates like this. I live in Novi and it's sad I drive a few cities over to other wonderful Tcf branches. Michelle and the branch manager are beyond unhelpful. I have been working with Tcf for years as a customer, and all the other branches are great at customer service. With this experience, I am sad to say I will be moving my money to other banks.
