I feel as if Sears is going downhill a bit

Sears delivery - dont do it!!! It is too bad you aren't able to give negative stars...I will give them one star so that the system registers this review....Unquestionably the most unprofessional, inconsiderate group of people I have dealt with in years. Wont allow you to set up a prior notice call...so you have to take time away to accommodate them...Missed two "promised delivery times," then want you to reschedule around them...so sad for what once was a great company...with this type of customer service, it is not a surprise I just heard they are closing Eden Prairie. Go anywhere but to Sears if you need something delivered!!!

Very dirty store and shelves marked wrong which is very misleading price wise and the shelves in general are messy. To get assistance in finding products employees are of little help if you can find them. I would suggest finding a different location or different retailer altogether and avoid this hole in the wall.

I will not shop here anymore either. I also noticed the out-dated store and lack of merchandise. The tool selection is weak. Sears used to be the place to get Craftsman tools (which I have thousands of dollars of). However, the selection is very poor. I have been loyal to Sears Craftsman tools since I went through tech. school from 1990-1992. I buy so much tools that I am getting ready to buy another huge tool box. I found a few large items I wanted to buy, but they did not have price tags on them. The first thing I did was contact a young gal at the register in the department. She couldn't come up with any information. She took my phone number and said she would have the department manager call me. I triple-checked she had my phone number correct. Exactly one week later - no call. I walk in the Department again and tell another employee about this. He says, "She went on Spring break." OK, well is she going to follow-up before vacation or when she gets back? Can I talk to the department manager? Nope - the department manager walked off the job he tells me. He looks at the items on the floor with me but can't find a price tag either. I decide to leave and continue waiting for a call. Spring break should be done any time now. Another week later I call the store. I explain the situation to whomever answered and nothing happened. Still no call. Two weeks later I am exiting a movie and decide to walk in the store again. I went to a different department and just simply asked for the contact info. for the store manager. Since there is no department manager, perhaps the store manager can help. The two employees I talked to would not give me the store manager's info. They call a co-worker on a radio. Co-worker with a smug attitude comes to me and doesn't introduce himself or offer to shake my hand. I ask him for the contact info to the store manager anyway. He refused. I knew I was getting nowhere with him so I told him I am eventually getting in touch with the store manager and I will report how uncooperative he was. He absolutely did not care at all! He said, "Ok" and walked away from me! Perhaps they don't have a store manager right now. I don't know what it is about the store manager that is so secretive. What is everybody in the store hiding? Why can nobody help me? Why is there no department manager? What is so top-secret about the store manager? I don't have to be loyal to Sears Craftsman tools anymore. There are other excellent brands and other stores to buy nice tools at. I expect excellence in Eden Prairie and have experienced nothing but incompetence and resistance. I went way beyond a reasonable effort to buy here. I can't waste anymore time on this. Time to find another store. . . Oh, still no return call.
