My experience has been frustrating to say the least. I have a renters insurance policy with State Farm. I paid in full. Later I was told my mail was not being delivered and to confirm my address. Living on the edge of two cities I offered the other city as I commonly receive mail with either city listed. Then I received a new policy and was being charged for this new policy. I called and inquired and was told that due to it being a different city there was a new charge associated with that city. I explained my frustration and asked for it to be changed back to the original city as that address was correct and should be getting mail delivered there. When I received my policy delivered to the original address I had an additional charge listed because they had to rewrite my policy. Upon calling and inquiring about this policy I was told nothing could be done and I still had to pay the additional cost because they rewrote my policy. A long frustrating story, thats full of unnecessary confusion and incompetence, in my opinion, but I will not be working with State Farm again when I move.
