Made a purchase from a retail shop, disputed it and proved that I never received my items. TCF was NO help at all!!! TCF will not assist and told me basically too bad so sad. My credit union would NEVER allow this and would have credited my account right away and they would have disputed it. This is way you always bank with a credit union!!!

I just went to the bank to get a check cashed and you guys were closed at 5:30 even though it clearly says 6:00 on google. Lame!!!!

After banking with TCF for about 20 years, I got a letter from them today that says... Dear TCF Customer, TCF Bank, like all federally insured financial institutions, is required to review information to ensure a reasonable level of understanding of each customer's banking relationship. As a result of this review process, we have found it necessary to close all accounts on which you are listed as an owner or an authorized signer effective Monday, December 28, 2020. Absolutely no reason stating why though
