Dragonfly Dreams Retreat Center
Quilting, Scrapbooking crafting Retreat Center We have a bed & breakfast atmosphere that can accommodate up to 8 crafters. We have 4 bedrooms with two twin beds in each along with 3 full bathrooms, including a Jacuzzi tub and walk in showers. The home was built in 1987 for Dr. Wilson as his residence and office, the retreat still has his original intercom system, along with the oldest bathroom in Lake City. There is a wrap around front porch that over looks Paton Park. You each have your own 30" x 60" work table, with ergonomically correct chairs, along with great lighting. We have 2 great quilt shops within walking distance, along with a craft store and many restaurants to choose from. Lake City is a great little town too. If you don't want to cook your meals you have a number of eating places to choose from. There is a clothing store two blocks away that has great, reasonably priced clothing. There is a small scrapbook store where you can usually find supplies you might have forgotten at home.
