I am an online content creator who was referred to Scott by a mutual friend who's been doing business with him for years, maybe decades? I can't remember the details now, but my friend was highly satisfied with the service he received from Scott for his lucrative home business.
I'm just starting out and my studio is in a building where even though I pay artist's rent, I am required to get liability insurance. When I called and mentioned this to the woman who answered the phone, she was very friendly and said that Scott was on another line and would call me back later that day.
Two days later, when I still hadn't heard from him, I called back, in case my phone number was written down wrong. After all, my friend had highly recommended Scott as a friendly, reliable, affordable State Farm insurance broker. Again I was told that Scott was busy and would call me back.
I then told her that I realized that my insurance needs were very small and that I might not be a good fit for their company and asked if I should assume that he wasn't interested if I didn't hear back. She assured me that he would get back to me either way. Well, that was almost a month ago and I'm still waiting...
I just hope that when he reads this review, he continues to give my friend the stellar service that he's been providing, because it would stink if my friend got punished because I decided to share my experience in this review.
By the way, I ended up getting my bond from Bi-Berk, an online Berkshire Hathaway company that was glad issue my $220 annual insurance. With online competition cutting into the market share of so many small businesses these days, I would hope that Scott would realize that even though I'm only just getting started, he can't exactly afford the cost of a bad review.
Next time, take the two minutes out of your day to turn someone down in person.

Mr. Roth has been very helpful in answering questions for a variety of coverages--home, auto and motorcyle. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!

Scott and Kris are outstanding insurance brokers. They are not your typical insurance agents or salespeople that try to sell you everything! They have always been up-front and honest about what our coverages need to be and we have always felt we receive a great value from them. Claims have always been taken care of very quickly and carefully. I would highly recommend using Scott Roth for any insurance needs!

Most unhelpful agent ever. I asked a question about my policy and he just refers me to the 1800 number. I asked what the number was and he said he didn't know. He convinced me to switch my other policy to him (probably for commission purposes) and I ran into a bunch of issues. Trust me when I say to stay away.
