DiSanto's Fort Road Florist

I ordered a floral headpiece for myself, for my wedding that turned out just perfect. It felt weightless, the flowers were very secure and they stayed beautiful all day. Marsha was able to take my favorite flowers and create beautiful adornments for myself and my wedding party. I will use DiSanto's Florist for all my floral needs.

I called the store and talked to Marsha who was very patient with me as I tried to describe the picture of the perfect custom arrangement I had in my head. She was helpful and even ran out the door to grab the delivery truck before it left so my order could be added to it. The flowers seemed to be reasonably priced compared to all the other florists and were delivered in a timely matter (though the destination was only blocks away). My girl loved them and I was equally impressed with the bouquet. I've had bad experiences before with calling in to florist shops since it's easy to take a person's money over the phone and then do a sub-par job but I was both satisfied and pleased with the service and end result. I will definitely use DiSanto's again. 11/27/12 Based on my previous experience I decided to order another bouquet from DiSanto's for my girl and have them delivered to her office downtown. I talked to Marsha again who was very helpful like last time. She patiently listened to me as I described the picture I had in my head and did a great job of translating that into a wonderful bouquet. My girl loves them and I was happy with the service, patience and the bouquet as well. Good job DiSanto's.

It is now Monday and I'm revising my review: The flowers were delivered to my brother at 11:07 am on Saturday, just hours prior to his discharge. The florist called today and said he was crediting my mother's acct, but said the fault was on the hospital's end, since he delivered the flowers on Friday. I contacted the hospital and was told their agreement with the florists is that, they can leave their flowers with their volunteer pool, but have been told flower delivery is bottom on their list of priorities and so will be delivered after all else. They also informed florists of the volunteer pool’s hours, and they were going off duty two hours after the flowers were delivered. She told me that if the florists do not like this arrangement they can deliver them personally to the patient's room. Fort Rd. Florists decided to leave them with the volunteers (who allegedly assured him they'd be delivered that day). Where does the culpability lay? I still say it was on the side of the florist, but they did quickly issue a refund and...my sister-in-law did say the flowers were very nice...even though it gave her one more thing to pack up, along with my brother. Had we known they'd arrive late, we'd have ordered flowers from a florist near their home and had them delivered to their house. So I guess if you want a PRETTY flower arrangement, this would be the place to call. If you want them delivered to a hospital patient on a deadline...be sure to tell them you want them delivered right to the patient's room.
