Called and spoke to Breanna regarding estimate to replace bathtub. Breanna stated that they do not give estimates and there is a $130 an hour charge starting at the time of dispatch. Got a call 9:07 a.m. stating tech on the way and I asked again about how it works to get a quote and was told they come out and give an estimate on the job after stating they do not give estimates, but instead charge $130 an hour. Received call from tech saying he was unable to find my home and wasn't sure what type of job I was requesting. Once the tech showed up at my home, he was in at 9:36 a.m. and out at 9:38 a.m. Tech stated the total amount due was $139.10, so I asked why $139.10 because I was told by Breanna the cost would be $130 an hour and the tech said taxes is charged on everything. I told him that $130 is already pretty pricey and I have never heard of being charged tax on a service call fee and should have been made aware of this before the technician was sent out to my home. I was told that an email would be sent to me instantly once payment was received and they did not happen. Once cash was given to the tech he was asked about the receipt and stated once he sent the estimate a receipt would come to my email, and he would sit in his truck and send the estimate. I did receive an email, but it was a quote to take out and replace tub and surround, but nothing showing the cash we gave him. Tech had to be stopped before he pulled off to ask that we receive an emailed receipt before he left for the cash he received. Finally got an email and the technician and his partner left. I tried calling him right after he left to ask a question and he did not answer the call, also sent a text with no response. Called office and spoke to Ellen same day, 2/14/22 to request a call back, stated she would give the technician the message that he was probably on another job, but he had just left my house. As of this day 2/21/22 I have not received a call back from anyone at Danny Millers after paying $139.10 for a 2-minute service call. Also, just an FYI that the $130 is not applied to the cost of the job.

service man was at my residence promptly. My service was completed in a timely manner. Repair cost was fair. He explained everything as he completed the job. Excellent. If I need any septic service in the future, Danny Miller Plumbing my 1st choice. Service: Sewer repair
