Good Evening, To the Members of The Chamber of Commerce, I would like to take the time to thank all of you in the City of Hazlehurst MS, for all of your support and well wishes in my accomplishments in the Music Industry, this year will mark my 30 years in the Music Industry, working with some of the best in Music. I'm living in Memphis TN now and enjoying every moment of it, to much to do and staying very busy.
The purpose of this post is really not a review, because the Chamber has been doing an outstanding job in their community, with great leadership, and outstanding board members, I could go on and on giving them praise for what they do in the community, I owe them a great deal of gratitude for allowing to be a participant while I was living there and being a member as well, and working for the great city of Hazlehurst Fire Dept and The School District as well, and congratulations on the new School Board I'm so glad we got our School back stronger than ever.
I would love to come back to Hazlehurst MS in time for the Annual Festival, and this info is towards the committee for The Rockin Railroad Festival, I'm currently on tour with an Entertainer who is blasting all over the radio stations across the Country, I'm personally his Road Manager and long time friend, he is a Southern Soul Star, name Mr. Terry Wright who has the number one song in the Country of Southern Soul Market, the song is called " I Done Lost My Good Thang" and he has many hits as well, we have been on The Blues Is Alright Tour 2015 with Mr. Mel Waiters, Shirley Brown, Denise La Salle, and other Tour's with Keith Sweat, K-Ci & Jo Jo, and has performed a memorable tribute to the late great Blue Lovett of The Manhattens along with Gerald Austin. I would love to bring him in for the Festival, he would be an awesome attraction, and can pull in a great crowd as well, hit after hit a non stop 1 hour show, for everyone, you can look him up on you tube and facebook as well, including myself we would love to come to Hazlhurst MS, to the Chamber of Commerce I congratulate in all you do for the City of Hazlhurst God Bless You All, and God Bless The City Of Hazlehurst MS whom I still call home.
