Excellent service and friendly atmosphere, the vast majority of gym goers are cautious enough to wipe down the machines after using them, hot sauna in the lockers, and a really cool theature section with treadmills instead of seats. A cut above standard gym memberships.

I love that this workout is high intensity crammed into a short time frame, but I can always keep going if Im feeling ambitious. In addition, I can stop in at any time during the evening class which allows for even more flexibility. This is a great choice for the 9-5er who needs to get some movement in after a long day of sitting - no excuses can be made when its just 30 minutes a class!

Took my 1st class from Sara tonight. She was great and made me feel very welcomed! Great use of my time while my son is Power Lifting with Evan for Special Olympics!

I been at house of pain for 6 months now and its the first gym Ive ever had gym friends. They all take fitness serious, and encourages you no matter where you are in your fitness journey. The staff are all fantastic. Nearly all of them know me by name. I signed up for one of their personal trainers and he is extremely knowledgable, always matches or exceeds the time promised, and always celebrates my progress. First time in my life Ive ever understood why people like the gym. Its because of gyms like these.

House of Pain is THE Gym to go to in St Louis. No sad breakup music over the loud speaker. No grossness in the locker rooms. No surly, half-interested high school students behind the desk. This place is rocks hard. And most importantly, Evan Miller is the king of personal fitness training. If you can get on his list, GET ON IT.
