I was approached to purchase the business by the owner, Hal Owen, and was taken on as a manager with the intent to purchase both locations from him.
After seeing the disorganized mess and guns that have been sold/pawned with no tags or markings as to who they belong to I knew I was in for a ride.
Hal trash talks his employees frequently when theyre not there or on their days off. I decided I wanted no part of the negative atmosphere, chaos, and mess so I quit. Hal then falsely accused me of theft of keys to business as retaliation.
Just an FYI to anyone applying there in the future or if you take things in to sell/pawn, just be aware of what youre getting yourself into.

Good guys working up there. Fair and they follow to the letter contacts they issue. Your pawned items are safe there and if youre selling youll get about the same that any other pawner will offer. They have tools , musical instruments and some army / survival items. Ill be buying my next firearm from them.

Doc Holiday's General Store was absolutely perfect to buy online from. The rifle was exactly as pictured, and I love it. Cody said it would be sent to my FFL dealer, and it was there as expected. I definitely recommend them to deal with.
