Steve runs the apartments and does a damn good job. He may run into problems from time to time either from typical maintenance, public mishaps, residents AND visitors not willing to follow the set guidelines, rules & policies or even an animal problem but he always gets the problem(s) fixed, it may take him a few days to fix some things but usually that is cause by a few things happening at once or one right after the other. The complex has a courtyard with places to sit and enjoy the outdoors along with a very decent sized and well maintained swimming pool. There is always someone out & about either residents & visitors just relaxing and talking, children playing with other neighbor children, barbecues, dogs being walked, residents swimming, music being played at a respectable volume, and someone doing a project or hobby. It is a very sociable, neighborly and fun setting. There are 2 laundry areas each equipped with 2 washers ($1.50 per load), 2 dryers ($1.50 per load) and a good sized folding/sorting table. Spacious storage pens are in tha same areas as the laundry setting and they can be padlocked if the resident so desires. Very adequate amount of parking spaces and some can be setup for handicapped drivers with a handicap parking sign along with your apartment number so it can be reserved for you, others who live with you and visitors. The apartments are not quite bland and very well laid out with the design and floorplan and Steve usually keeps them updated and maintained while they are vacant. The monthly rent is decently affordable for rates on renting housing nowadays with a fair deposit amount. Most pets are allowed with a inexpensive pet deposit and alot of the residents pets get along with each other. It is located right on one Raytown's main streets with the driveway to the complex easily accessible but it is a one-way wrap around drive which circles the entire complex. Everyone who lives here agrees that it is located in almost the perfect area of Raytown with restaurants, a local meat market, a diner, gas stations, pubs/bars, small retail stores, repair shops, auto maintenance garages, public schools, hardware stores, tobacco and liquor stores, doctors offices, medical prescription businesses, assisted living and nursing homes, public swimming pools, public library, City Hall/Police Department, public utility offices, different religious halls some with alcohol & substance abuse programs, martial arts & dance studios, pool halls, several different bank branches, laundry mats/drycleaners, public horse riding ranch, nature trails, parks, fast food businesses, suburban type housing areas and other apartment complexes all of this within WALKING DISTANCE!!! I'm not yanking your chain, every single thing that I listed is only a few minutes to a 15 minute walk. I would definitely recommend the Raytown Villa Apartment Complex to anyone and everyone. I wouldn't be living here if it wasn't everything I just wrote. An A+ rating in my book.
