La Mesa Mexican Restaurant

If you like Mexican food, you should probably find somewhere else to eat. People were nice enough, not sure they get the concept of Mexican food however, maybe they should hire a Mexican, or at least talk to one. Chips were stale (both batches), flour and corn tortillas were cold when served on burritos & enchiladas. Not sure what kind of seasoning they used, but it's not the right kind. On a positive note, they have good after dinner mints.

Since they opened the new store on Mitchell, the one we like better on the Belt at Gene Field seems to have all new servers every time we go in. The food is consistently excellent. The prices are more than fair. The service is suffering, though; they have some new robot waitrons every time who don't know the menu and aren't really paying attention to their tables.
