Had an appointment with Dr. Maya live in st. Marie, drove in to town for my appointment and she canceled for a surgery. I’m at a very high chance of ectopic pregnancy after a tubal reversal, she even stated this in my documents. She could have said she will see me after her surgery (practicing medicine, you’d think they would have came up with something a little better) but instead she called to tell me that I would have to come back another day. Even having pain after an hsg test. (I was thinking ectopic) I was shrugged off and sent on my way, with my $10 coupon. I have everything on recording. Instead of saying we can fit you in after her surgery that ran late, she said to come back another day knowing the soonest I could come in is the following week. Knowing I just paid a baby sitter, knowing I used loads of money on gas, babysitters and lunch for the kids.. Her assistant was rude and tried to convince me to come in the following MONTH. I was livid! In pain after my hsg and the only thing they can tell me is to come in a different day, even getting her to give me a blood test for hsg was a nuisance. Again, all on audio recording. They gave me a gift card and sent me a letter saying they’re terminating my care for any and all obgyn related issues. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor. As specialists, they really lack the most basic of common sense. I had Cholestasis in my last pregnancy, and a few has needed steroid shots to stay inside of me longer. Last son had intrauterine growth restriction. Living in saint Marie, it will be near impossible to get the care we will need when I do get pregnant. And why? Why give me a 10$ gift card if I was the one in the wrong? Again, I have everything on video. Perhaps she was offended I said “this is the best you guys can come up with, and you practice medicine “.. but it’s true. How can you take care of high risk patients and you can’t fit me in after the surgery is over with? Especially knowing I am extremely high risk?!
