O'Connor Funeral Home & Crematory

We recently had a family death and needed a simple cremation done. With only two options in our area, we chose O'Conner Funeral Home. Unfortunately, our experience with them was highly unsatisfactory. From the moment we selected this funeral home, we were bombarded with non-stop calls from O'Conner, urging us to begin planning arrangements. The constant pressure was overwhelming, especially for my mother during such a difficult time. The "salesman" assigned to us was more interested in pushing overpriced products rather than understanding our needs. When choosing the most inexpensive route, (we brought in our own Urn) due to my mom's fixed budget as a senior, it seemed like we were quickly dismissed and sent home with a consolation lasagna. The most significant issue arose when we requested death certificates. Initially, we were informed it would take around 10 days to receive them. However, even after two weeks had passed, we received different excuses every time we called for an update. It was only after contacting our "salesman" directly that we learned the certificates were being withheld until the bill was paid. It would have been much better if they had been transparent about this from the beginning instead of providing false explanations. We would have paid immediately without any hesitation! Throughout the entire process, communication was consistently poor, and our assigned salesman demonstrated a lack of bedside manner. The overall experience was nothing short of terrible. If given the choice again, I would gladly pay more and go to Croxford, where we know we would be treated with respect and professionalism.

Randy was a reminder to me that angels exist. I'm still broken over the loss of my dad, but Randy was SO KIND and amazing. Thank you for making this so bearable. You folks are amazing.

This place was the most unprofessional and rude place. I wish my lil brother would have never been put there. Only put one star so I could say my peace. Not even one star worthy. I hope one day you all get treated like you treated my family after you're loss

I have been very pleased with my experience with the OConnor Funeral Home. They were thorough and very helpful in assisting me and my family with my mothers funeral arrangements, providing comfort and support throughout the process. I would recommend them to anyone facing this difficult time in life .
