They showed up 3 weeks late and unannounced...in august of 2020 to look at my central air unit...took a glance and told me it was shot I need a new one...I asked if he would please just give it a charge of Freon since I know it works..it’s just been moved and the guy who installed it back into the home is trying to get us to buy a whole new set up from him which won’t be happening because the typical fraud tactics were used to get us to believe we need a new unit...thinking volz wouldn’t give us the run around...we had our hopes up that this wouldn’t happen again...but it did. He did charge it up and it worked beautifully for the rest of the summer but leaked over the past winter and needs charged again...idk why he wouldn’t do more then just try to scam me out of more money I don’t have...lol...I found the leak in the system too...YouTube has great videos to learn this stuff since I’ve been waiting for 6 weeks again to have someone show up to look at it again and no one has...I ordered the hoses and gauges and I guess I’m gonna be learning Hvac...mccook lost all the honest good contractors when all the older guys retired...it’s a shame that these professionals won’t even show up when scheduled and when they do they pull the over used fraud tactics to sell new systems to people who have perfectly good working units already...as he’s standing there charging my ac and I’m seeing it start working within seconds of getting a charge...he’s persisting it’s shot and I need a new one lol...how is it shot when it’s working right in front of us? And worked perfectly for the rest of the summer...I think these guys need to be reality checked...I have a medical condition where I can’t handle the heat without getting very sick...and I can’t get my ac fixed...I have the r22 even! Lol! I have gauges! I have the money to pay and offered to pay double! And nothing! So maybe when someone ends up sick and in the hospital because they couldn’t get air conditioning only because the professionals in this town won’t work on old units or show up on time or at all for someone they don’t know or at a house that’s not on the golf course lol...and they get sued because of it...then maybe they’ll be less arrogant...YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR UN A VERY SMALL TOWN! Maybe I need to get licensed and pick up ALL TGR PEOPLE YOU BLOW OFF OR TRY SCAMMING! Something needs to change in this town. Service: Outdoor system repair
