Before hiring Brazilian Pavers, you should know that they do not respect their customers. As far as they are concerned, their customers know nothing and Alan the owner is always right. Once you sign the initial contract (which is presented as an estimate), you have signed away your rights to inspect the job and ask for any finishing details. This is a resounding complaint from many customers. You should know that any color blend that you contract for, will not necessarily be honored by Alan. In my case, I asked for the Old Town Blend, which should include a blend of red, gray, and yellow pavers. I went to their office to see the blend and the office assured me that the blend of the three colors was the blend I would get. When the pavers were laid and the workers were still working on my property, Alan showed up to "inspect." The pavers had not yet been cemented around the perimeter or filled with sand to hold them in place. I told him that I did not accept the blend because it lacked the third color of yellow. He said that they ran out of yellow and he would not replace anything. He said he had no way of knowing what percentage of colors they would receive in any order from their paver manufacturer. He added, "My hands are tied." When I showed him 10 red pavers in a row - not a blend - he said his workers were on a tight schedule and too busy to change anything. He then had Carol bring 20 yellow pavers to me and she told me that I could find cheap laborers to replace them (not her laborers)! The Brazilian Pavers laborers left a big pile of cement on my property and trash at the curb in front of my house for me to clean up. They did not finish the walkway with what they call coping - a border - as I expected, and instead left excessive cement that cannot be covered up and is an eyesore from the street. I now am forced to find someone else to complete the job that they could have easily finished. Additionally, Alan said his customers waste his time by calling in and asking questions about the job in progress and berated me for calling in to ask how the pavers would be held in place. He is extremely rude and talks down to his customers as if they are stupid. Also a resounding complaint. I was charged for 300 square feet of pavers, but only 260 square feet was laid. I complained to the office, and Linda said they always charge an additional percentage. Stay away from this company, they don't care about anything except getting your money for as little work as they can get away with. Service: Hardscaping

Taking time to share our experience with Brazilian Pavers - hoping our feedback will help you to choose the best company for your paver job - NOT Brazilian Pavers. Unfortunately, we didn't choose the best company. The quality of pavers used for our patio job met our expectations; however, this company failed to get the details right. We had unacceptable paver cuts near front door, pavers by door not level with door sill, crew decided to throw away the patio step light mounting kits and chose to glue the lights to the pavers - attempted twice as glue did not work on the pavers/finally mounted with screws; however, not stainless steel screws - so installed screws would have rusted, lack of sand in multiple areas of the patio, flexile electrical conduit and plastic drain line unscrewed for paver installation and not reinstalled/screws missing, debris from demolition left in planters and outside of pony wall in common HOA area, irrigation lines cut and not advising us (tossing over the pony wall) - not replaced by company - see picture where they plugged hole with a twig after they broke it off, damaging property (windowsill), cane lock on gate - hole drilled to deep in paver and unable to secure, cement splattered on pony wall and not removed, cigarette butts left by workers, and crew drinking beer at job site. When bringing all these issues to the owner's attention(Alan), he was defensive, failed to take ownership, and not professional. We worked with Carol to correct some of the issues. We are now correcting the remaining outstanding issues ourselves as we don't wish to have them on our property anymore. They compensated us with a nominal discount. We had communication issues with the crew as they were Spanish speaking only and if we had questions or concerns, we had to contact Carol for assistance. A suggestion for this company would be to have a person complete a daily quality check on the crews to ensure the work is meeting their expectations and not wait until a customer is upset and frustrated. The clean-up process (restoring your property to the same condition prior to their work) was unacceptable. We had to remind them the power washing of the sidewalk and driveway didn't happen, gravel in common HOA area needed to be racked to cover tracks from equipment, pipe cuts, cigarette butts, beer bottle caps, chip bags littered the HOA common area. It's not even been two weeks and we have two pavers that have come loose - see attached picture. We were so excited to get our patio updated; however, this project was extremely painful and stressful. The details matter and are important in completing a successful patio paver project. When you agree to a $13,000 project amount, you expect it to meet your expectations. Per the owner's comments, if we didn't want cement spattered on our pony wall and he had to protect it with plastic, we would have to pay $25,000 for the project. You can now understand our concerns with this company. Brazilin Pavers failed to execute a successful patio paver installation, and we would not recommend them to friend or foe.
