So I had a nightmare. And in a purely figuratively manner Tree Amigos held me and made everything better.
A few weeks ago a 50 year old 100 foot tall tree in my backyard fell through (yes THROUGH) my home while we were at dinner.
That was just bad news. The nightmare began when the insurance company was not only non responsive, but when they did contact us, they said we were responsible to remove the tree from our home ourselves.
Somehow by the grace of God. My girl knew of Tree Amigos. (Now I should add. I've NEVER trimmed a tree in my life or even had one done.)
We placed a call to them and spoke to the owner who said "we can be there in 45 minutes, is that acceptable?"
Acceptable?!?! It's AMAZING!!!
Sure enough a troop of helmeted, orange clad warriors came through my back gate, accessed the situation and within ONE HOUR this bohemian shade tree was be carved up like a turkey on Thanksgiving Day. (Minus the parade and football of course)
They rescued the house from the overbearing weight of the tree and then met with us to say, "we can be back tomorrow if needed, we are willing to cancel our weekend plans to get the rest of the tree down if need be."
Um hell no!!! Enjoy your weekend. They ensured us that the rest would stay put until Monday and that we would see them bright and early Monday morning to make us whole again.
On Monday this team returned and went straight to it. (Exactly as planned)
I wish I knew a better word than amazing to describe not just the team but their entire work ethic.
They showed up early, worked late and left my yard better than it was before they came. (My dogs thank them for that)
We loved them so much, we just had them trim the trees in our front yard, so as to avoid another disaster
Oh and did I mention, their attention to detail and knowledge actually saved me an insurance claim?
They explained to us, then the adjuster in written form, how exactly NV Energy trimmed the tree out of the powerlines so poorly that they killed it, thus causing it to fall and damage our home.
In short, if you don't use this team you are nuts!!!
