The chair lifts for the beginner trails are not detachable which make them difficult to get off of, on top of having a very steep landing for the valley lift. If you want to ride the nicer and faster Rocket, you have to at least be able to get down a blue. You are not allowed to ride the lifts down either, you must walk or have ski patrol take you on a sled. The walk down isn't fun in snowboard boots. Sunapee does not have this issue, while servicing many more riders per hour!
