Just completed the defensive Pistol series of classes and was amazed at the detail and realism these classes provide. Rob and crew were fantastic teachers and role players providing real world scenarios and techniques to boost confidence for every day carry. The emphasis on safety cannot be understated. This is the place you want to go if you're serious about improving your skills. I am looking forward to taking more classes. If I could've given them six stars I would have.

The dedicated crew at CDI are all extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they teach. Each and every instructor makes a personal effort to communicate and teach every student in their classes. After taking the defensive pistol 101-105 classes, I left more confident in my decision making, handling of a firearm and knowledgeable about the laws pertaining to firearms. This course came recommended to me and now I recommend it to everyone who has an interest in self defense. I have already singed up for more classes and plan on continuing to do so.

There is no other better team to be trained by! I cant speak highly enough about Rob and his team of AMAZING trainers. The experience you get working with them you just cant get find anywhere else. The heart and compassion they all have for every individual regardless of age is incredible. Real life situations cant prepare you enough for the real world. Thank you all so much for all the education and expertise you have provided to the civilians and beyond!

My wife and I have attended multiple classes, the defensive pistol series 101-105 and some pistol classes on the live fire range. Rob and his team are extremely knowledgeable, we learned a lot and highly recommend taking these firearms/defense training courses to anyone that owns or is thinking about buying a firearm.

I discovered CDI in 2022 when a friend asked me to attend a Stop The Bleed class with her. For $30 and a few hours on a Sunday, I said what the heck. I had been shooting and instructing for 25 years at that point. I competed, attended the National Tactical Invitational four times along with all the high-speed low-drag operators, and trained with several reputable schools all across the country. I had experienced Simunitions in force-on-force scenarios and other "reality" based training. I thought I was pretty well-rounded, but had been on a 10-year hiatus from any serious shooting for various personal reasons. Talking with Rob during that first CDI class, I realized how much I missed serious training and decided to see what he had to offer, so I enrolled in Defensive Pistol 101-105. Game changer! Besides being pretty rusty behind a gun, I didn't realize how much my prior experience was lacking actual real-world defensive tactics. While carrying a firearm does require exceptional weaponcraft, it's not really about the gun. Rob and his team helped me realize square range training alone can be detrimental and made me aware of the training scars I had developed as a result. Now I am 100% on-board with the other skills we all need to prevail in a life-threatening encounter. Never stop learning!
