FairPoint Communications

My one star rating for Consolidated Communications is negative by four stars. I had thought there internet service couldn't get any more pathetic and after paying for the upgrade for higher internet speed I am now even worse off with my shoddy internet speed comparable to bygone AOL dial up. If your business of any kind is survival dependent on internet don't ever entrust it to them.

WOW I was just looking to see what other Internet companies are in NH I am having problems with Comcast Xfinity all these companies are a joke and sadly they are totally aware of it and don't care because they know their the only ones in NH. Comcast is a joke as well they lie up a storm the representative are constantly misconstruing the way certain steps should be with setting up certain services. Its like get a clue! so now Oh CoURse its at the customer's expenses! And FairPoint is no better so maybe it's time to live off the grid....

Gigabit fiber is fast off hours but over subscribed during peak hours. 200Mb downloads between 7:30pm and 10:00pm. Latency as high as 300ms. I've been monitoring this behavior for a couple months and it's as consistent as the sunrise. Avoid if you care about quality of service.

I came here expecting to see Fairpoint but instead there's this company called Consolidated Communications here instead.
