The pizza was nothing to write home about. If i did write home...it would look something like this... Dear Home; Today I had pizza at R.U. Grill and Pizza. It was not so great. It was however very reasonably priced. It was about eleven bucks for four slices. That's very reasonable. I would have paid up to $15 for slices that taste better. So Home, if you ever run away from yourself. And go near Rutgers and want cheap pizza...if you go here....that is what you are going to get. But home...please don't run away from home..because I'll have nowhere to go.

I ordered the vegan pizza although it wasnt bad all it was, was a plain pie with vegan cheese. I should have asked what came and constitutes it being a vegan pie. I wish it had veggies with it. At the very least next time Ill bring it up and see what it would cost to my accommodations

AMAZING PIZZAAAA. I asked for light cheese and it was perfect. You can tell if its a frozen pizza, and this wasnt for sure.

Do not use RU Grill, and Ali the owner, to do any catering orders. I placed a $250 deposit, spoke with the owner on multiple occasions, confirmed the order 2 days before the event, and the night of the event when I asked where he was after they were 30 minutes late... no reason why they didn't show up, just a half-hearted apology with no offer to rectify the situation. Insult to injury? Instead of refunding my deposit, he charged my credit card again. Decent food, horrible business practices that you cannot rely on for catering.

Quick food that taste great, and great service. RU Grill has been a Rutgers staple for decades.
