Just had a terrible experience at this J. CREW location. As usual when you walk in everyone says Hello and offers to help. I find a pair of shoes on their sale rack and ask the sales person to check the price. He comes back with 19.99, his manager hears him and questions the price. He said he checked and that's what vame up. So, now we're at the register and he keeps fiddling with the keuys and suddenly tells me, "Oh these a ren't the price I told you." What kind of s**t is that.....They obviously did not want to sell the shoes for the sale price....no wonder so many locations are closing. Staff should be trained to assist and work the cash register, or at the very least to check prices. If he wasn't sure he should have asked his manager for help. You can't give the wrong price then refuse to sell at the point of purchase. As a point of reference these shoes are from 2016....how thet end up in the store AND among the sale items is anybodys guess. Obviously, an item that old would be on sale. .
