I have known Brian since I was a teenager he is one of the most talented people I know he puts his heart and soul into his music.He is very good with teaching the children has a lot of patience and it come through in his music. I have known Brian Jones for more then 10 years. I also know several of his clients/students. He is know for his professionalism and breath on knowledge as a teacher, musician and recording engineer as well as his song writing experience. His unique teaching style provides students with opportunities not typically associated with general music classes such as interaction with other students in band style settings as well as instrumentation and recording. I have been a musician , recording engineer and instrument service technician for more that 40 years and can say with confidence that Brian provides one of the best learning environments I've encountered. My son took guitar lessons at Good Vibrations for several years. He suffered a brain injury 10 years ago and lost much of his ability to play. He and Brian developed a very good rapport and he enjoyed going each week. Slowly he began to recover some of what he lost in terms of playing. Brian had so much patience and understanding and I highly recommend him especially in terms of those experiencing a handicap.

I began my musical journey at Good Vibrations Music Studio at the age of 11. Brian always stressed the importance of learning to play guitar using your ear. His lessons during those formative early years kept the fun in learning a new instrument and allowed me to explore my own musical identity. Later on he set me up in a band with other students of his and booked us shows in the area allowing me to grow further as a musician in a band setting. I now am in my mid 20s and play in a band with gigs throughout New York City. I can say for certain that taking lessons with Brian at the studio was the best decision I made and has continued to benefit me in my musical journey.

Brian is an excellent teacher: fun, very knowledgeable on multiple instruments and adaptable to the style of the learner (and the situation when covid hit!) He not only taught my son some great drumming, but they also worked on producing electronic music together and explored many areas of interest. Brian is generous with his time and with sharing the benefit of all his considerable musical experience.
