        Got the Tikka tacos with lettuce instead of tortillas. They were amazing! We just spotted this place on the road when we were thirty minutes early for an appointment nearby and it was the perfect find! I'll definitely be back!

        It was okay. Relatively inexpensive tacos, but I've had better in Albuquerque for the same price. Only had outdoor tables, and the ambiance was not very nice.

      FLAVOR WORTH A THOUSAND ONE NIGHTS Tikka Hut’s menu boasts an array of grilled meats and vegetables accompanied by flavorful dips and sauces. The cuisine reflects, the long history of conquest and occupation along the east coast of Africa by the mighty seafaring nations of the time – the Portuguese, the Arabs and the British. Therefore, Arab and Indian immigrants and traders who arrived on the coast, had the strongest influence on Swahili (coastal) food. The flavors of Tikka Hut are a blend of Persian, Indian, and Swahili spices and cooking styles. The marinades make use of yogurt, ginger, garlic, black pepper, turmeric, and other blends of mixed spices with subtle hints of fresh chilies.
