I the summer of 1976, I commissioned Trujillo's Weaving Shop to weave material to cover a single matress and two bolsters to be used on Taos Indian couch I was having made, see photo attached. So today a friend was talking of Chimayo and I got into this moment 47 years ago. This is a fabuous place and when I say their artisans make things that last, here's proof. Thanks for the memories.

Was told by locals to come to this shop for some souvenirs. The gentleman Trujillo was truly a gentleman. Not only is this his place of business but he also lives there. It is truly a beautiful workshop and home. He was very courteous, and we enjoyed his stories of the history of his family. Overall, his store is reasonably priced compared to other shops within the area.
