We just found a receipt from a 2016 trip. We were heading back to the east coast from CO pulling a 31 foot travel trailer. One of the hubs on the trailer decided to frag itself so we ended up, of course on a Friday night, stuck at Clayton Lake State Park in Clayton, NM in a gravel lot by the entrance. We found a local guy who was able to cut the nut off so we could get the wheel and hub off only to confirm we had basically melted metal. He helped us take the axle off in the parking lot as well as ran around looking for a spare axle at some friends' houses. Great guy. Monday morning, we took the axle to Emery Welding and the guys were able to help us out right away. By some miracle, we were able to find the appropriate replacement hub at the local Napa and Emery's was able to rebuild and rethread the spindle then mount the new hub assembly. We came back to get the axle. When I offered to pay them, they were almost offended. They said when you get that axle back on your trailer, bring it back here and we make sure everything else is OK, then you can pay us. I'd forgotten what it's like to deal with honest men of integrity and character. Sad. The not terribly mechanically inclined husband and wife team remounted the axle in the gravel parking lot w/ basic hand tools, got the trailer back to the shop, and the guys did a once over of the other axle and ended up rewiring the brakes since the lines had been severed from all the time on the road. While it was just another day at work for these guys, they basically saved us from a potential disaster of enormous cost. Instead, we paid a whopping $204.17 to get back on the road and head home. It was a pleasure to deal with an honest business that treated their customers professionally and didn't use our desperation to gouge us and charge an exorbitant amount of money. Thanks guys. Sorry it took us so long to get to a review. We tell this story often. You're always the heros.

Cole just arrived to help us on the side of the road in Texline. Our Airstream decided to drop the bottom out of her bumper compartment. If you are in this area and need some welding help, definitely call them!
