This is a Metro-North Railroad station in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx, directly next to Fordham University. On the street-level you can find ticket machines, a waiting room and a ticket window that is staffed by a real person. The platforms below can be accessed by stairs and an elevator and the platforms are very wide which is needed for the large number of passengers. There are some sketchy individuals who linger on the street in front of the station and in the entrance area, but overall this is a safe and pleasant station.
