Simply the best contractor I have ever dealt with. Thorough, thoughtful, clean,and honest. Before he would give me a quote, he had his electricians and plumbers come to my house for an inspection of the work. His price quoted for a total basement renovation seemed reasonable, and he was referred to me by a contractor friend of mine(he couldn't commit to time frame).
From the first day, the guys he brought in were excellent workers, always on time, and left the house as well as can be expected (expect dust on a basement reno). Many times nobody was home while work was being done, never 1 issue
King quoted us a time frame that would have been met, if not for a global pandemic. He still managed to finish the job much quicker than I would have thought considering the circumstances.
I can tell you King never came to me looking for more $. He set a contract with target goals linked to payments. The only time we needed to pay more, is when my wife and I would add more work to the contract (heated floors, exterior electric work,ECT...) King even managed to have plumbers come back for a broken pipe on 2nd floor toilet that had nothing to do with job on hand.
I can't recommend King Young enough. We are already planning on enclosure of front porch, and I'm not bothering getting a quote from anybody else. Attached are some Before,During, and After pics. I will probably just copy this post to Yelp or Angie's List.
