I have been going to London Optical for more than 20 years and have consistently had an overall excellent experience. Their long standing management and staff (most notably George and John) are experienced, friendly and trustworthy, and are focused on building relationships with their clients. On more than one occasion George has taken extraordinary steps to ensure my complete satisfaction. Dr. Nathanson is affable and highly capable. They have a great and varied selection of quality, fashionable frames to appeal to a broad range of tastes. I highly recommend London Optical in Great Neck.

This is a long time due review and I usually don’t write reviews. There are few optical places in Great Neck and I visited them all during beginning of 2021. I need a progress eye glass and it seems hard to get it. I was told that I can only choose titanic or metal frame because I have an wider nose bridge ( I am Asian). I saw Dr. George. George selected few frames and they all looks better on me compare all the optical stores I visited. While I was still thinking, George brings me a Gucci plastic frame that was designed for Asian people. I love the frame and wonder why nobody have told me that Gucci has frame for Asian, even I mentioned how much I want Gucci frame. During my visit, George gives me a lot information about what kind of frame that should work for me. George is gifted, kind heart Optician that you can ever expect to meet. Needless to say, I was settled with my glass frame. Dr. Fried exam my eyes and give me the prescription that did the best for my condition; I need an eye glass can drive, work on computer and read on iPhone. My eye glass can do this all. I also want to thank you Dr. John, the very experienced Optician who had explained to me that I should have a single vision eye glass for computer as well. I took John’s advice and it works perfectly. The store manager, Sandra is very nice and pleasant work with too. I saw people come into to the store, most of them are long time customers. Lastly, I know how hard to get the right eye glass frame for Asian. No worry, come to this place and ask for George. He is an Asian eyeglass expert.
