Children's Choice Child Care

My 2 year old daughter loves going here. They have a daily schedule that includes center time, playground play, and theme activities. I actually know what theyre learning on the week by week basis because my daughter will come home with new concepts that I havent taught her mommy look Im happy!! :) Now Im sad :( The director is outgoing, friendly, consistently present and knows every child by name. The only thing I would change is I wish they had a few healthier menu options for lunch or snack, but the menu is pretty standard for daycare. Overall this place is amazing.

I worked at this day care for a little over a year. Children amazing, parents amazing, I literally have ongoing relationships with these great people... My experience working at this "facility" was not the best, from being denied a day off to go to the doctors because I had conjunctivitis in which my boss pretended she did not see it so she could not get in trouble for not letting me go or anything (I worked mostly in an infant room) to working full time hours with no sick/vacation days (without a problem/or being blamed for "messing up" the schedule), to going on my lunch break and being told I need to go back into the room I am in for the day because the state inspector is there and she has been understaffed (ratios were not correct when our lunch breaks occur from 1-2:30pm). The management here is definitely NOT the best. After being ridiculed and racially commented on being told I was "lucky" to be hired as I am Spanish and have a Spanish last name, after watching my employer say absolutely disgusting things about different types of people/coworkers/people who are being interviewed, listening to her rants about the parents personal lives and how they don't know how to raise a child or just overall judging them for what they dress their children in or just the way THEY do things. I am and forever will be saddened. I just don't understand how someone so heartless/psycho/senseless could run a day care. If you choose this day care for your child/or to become employed here I HIGHLY recommend thinking twice. Current parents honestly think twice about saying any personal business as all staff knows or will know. Not a lot of people have had the guts to stand up to this woman (including PARENTS) as I have. This has led others to ongoing verbal/mental abuse/anxiety who ever reads this I wish you well and stay away from here. She is a liar she will smile in your face and turn around and speak ALL of your business. Hope this helps some people from going through what I and others have been through.
