Did not had second chance to look. Once i spoke to the teacher and how the things were organized in the school. i enrolled my son to the school. Simply Amazing!!

My son went to Montessori Minds a few years back and it was a FANTASTIC experience for our whole family. The school itself is clean and bright with plenty of room for the children to explore, learn, and play. Jackie Krumm and her caring, attentive staff take every opportunity to make the learning environment stimulating, fun, and creative and are always thinking up new ways to keep the kids interested and engaged. Our son loved the school and the staff so much that there were times that he wouldn't want to leave when we came to pick him up because he was having too much fun! Bottom line, if you're looking for a preschool for your child where they can learn and grow in a safe and loving environment, Montessori Minds Preschool is the place for you!

After looking into a few preschools for my daughter I knew this was the right fit. My daughter loved this school and her teachers (Jackie and Marie) from the minute she stepped into the classroom. They are encouraging, supportive, kind and caring. They have always been prompt at answering any questions I had in regards to the program or my child. My daughter is excited to go into the kindergarten part of the school next year and as a parent I am excited to watch her learn and grow. I have a younger son and will not hesitate to send him to Montessori Minds Preschool when the time comes. You will not regret sending your child to this school. Jackie and her staff are Amazing!

I visited this school one day to get a brochure and possibly enroll my child. When i knocked on the door, a women came to the door and asked what i wanted. I told her i was looking to possibly enroll my daughter and get some information. She told me to wait outside, with my child, while she went to get information for me (I called the school previously on numerous occasions to get information and left numerous messages and never got a call back). When she came back she asked me how old my child was and if she had ever been to preschool. I told her she was almost five and had not attended a preschool yet, which is why we were there. She then gave me a horrible look and told me that i was very late in enrolling my child. Then she proceeded to compare her children to mine child and tell me that her children could already read and they were only four. She then told me not to expect "her" to be able to work a "miracle" within a few months. Not only was i highly insulted by this women, but i was disappointed in how she treated me and my daughter. She ASSUMED my child could not read and then compared her children to mine. I was not looking for her to try to make my child a genius, but to get my child used to being around other children. I feel that because my child did not look like her or any of the other children in her preschool, she didn't take me very seriously, which is disgusting, especially in this day and age. I went across town to another preschool where they did not insult me or criticize me and my child. We did not have to wait outside in the cold and they let me observe the other children as they were being taught. My experience with Montessori was disappointing. Never in my 30 years of living in Hauppauge have i been treated with such disrespect. I certainly do not want my child attending such a school where they would most likely be treated differently.
