Stay away from this so called union. The best way to discribe this union is CROOKS, THIEVES, AND CONMEN. All the leadership cares about is lining their pockets from the blood sweat and tears off the membership and give NOTHING BACK. If you join this union and do become a city employee you will get 1 SICK DAY A YEAR, 16 DAYS ANNUAL LEAVE, JURY DUTY IS OFF THE TABLE IF YOU GET CALLED YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR OWN TIME. YOU DO NOT GET PAID SO IF YOU DO HAVE ANNUAL LEAVE BANKED YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR OWN TIME TO ATTEND THE JURY DUTY. AND THE BIGGEST KICK IN THE STOMACH IS NO BEREAVEMENT. SO IF YOU HAVE A DEATH IN THE FAMILY YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR OWN TIME AGAIN. YOU GET ALL THESE WONDERFUL BENEFITS NOT!!!!! AND YOUR UNION DUES IS BASED ON A PERCENTAGE OF YOUR SALARY. SO BE PREPARED TO PAY AROUND $2000 A YEAR TO THESE CROOKS FOR A BIG NOTHING. THAT EQUATES TO 0.0
