I have been going to Dr. Chen’s Acupuncture for 4 years now and I absolutely love it there, I cannot say enough good things about this place. I first started going there for really terrible premenstrual symptoms- mostly sharp cramps and migraines. After the first month of treatment I noticed that my following period was much less painful- the cramping became a dull ache. For those who suffer from debilitating cramps like I did, you guys know what a relief it was for me to not have to go through that. The migraines took a lot more time to heal (maybe about 3 months of regular treatments), but I can say that after years of treatments, my PMS are diminished to a point where I now only see them the week before my period comes. Once in awhile I will go get a treatment for something else, but mostly I’m very healthy and balanced :). The acupuncturist that I see most often is Dr. Kim, she is patient, kind, and a good listener. Best of all, I get treated as a whole person and I never feel like I’m just a symptom to throw meds at like some doctors I know. I have to also mention that the 15 minutes of massage at the end of every treatment feels like a little slice of heaven! I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The office itself is very clean, and they play soothing meditation music in all the rooms, which is great for napping. The employees who work there are always so cheerful and whenever I come in, I get a chorus of “hellos,” I especially want to mention a thanks to Evelyn! This is a wonderful and caring acupuncture center, and I have recommended 10-15 people to them since I started my treatments, keep up the good work everyone!
