The Pearl Hotel

A great hotel, although not very big or new. The room we had on the 10th floor that day was great. The large room had a double bed. What was great was that it had an open-air balcony with a view of the streets of Manhattan. Breakfast is okay, with a variety of breads, coffee, milk, juice, eggs and mixed fruits, but it will be very tiring after eating it for three days in a row. The room is fully equipped with everything, including a microwave, refrigerator and even an iron. The service is also good, basically amiable. There are almost no other Asians in the hotel, mostly Europeans, especially French. The transportation is very convenient, located next to Times Square.

The staff was so heloful! We really felt taken care of like guests instead if a problem. Nearby activities: Close to everything I wanted to do!

We loved this little gem of a hotel. The room was spacious! Surprise in NY! Breakfast had some variety. Very good pastries, fresh bagels and cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt. The staff were incredibly sharp, offering to make us reservations at a nearby hotel. This hotel is reasonably priced and close walking distance from Times Square. We would definitely stay here again.

We just completed a 3-night stay at the Pearl Hotel. Overall, we liked the hotel very much and would stay there again. The service was great and the room was very attractive. However, there are three things that could have been improved. First, the included continental breakfast was of very poor quality--not even to the level of most 3-star chain hotels. Second, while our room was well-designed, there was no chair besides the desk chair. I cannot remember staying in a hotel room that did not have at least a second chair. Third, while the gym had a great set of high-end equipment, there were no mats and no space to stretch. Also, no water. Otherwise, this hotel has a great location near Times Square, while being relatively quiet at night, and represents a good value for its location.
