Paprika

Went for brunch and really wished they had their dinner items available (papardelle with lamb ragu sounded great). Prices were $12 for brunch options and lower for a la carte. Scrambled green eggs and prosciutto panini were very good, eggs Benedict was average. Worth visiting, but probably not more than once.

I live near Paprika, and it's always easy to get a table. I love the beef carpaccio and the gnocchi with mushrooms. Paprika is very affordable for the quality of food that you receive. Usually the daily specials are very delicious. A great place to bring visiting friends!

The food is ok at best. The service is extremely poor. A) There was a hair in my water, which I know is not actually that physically disgusting given the streets of NYC, but mentally its just such a turn off. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he wasn't remotely apologetic and his attitude was more like "o." Service was overall just very inattentive. B) Mushroom gnocchi was awful and truly bland. The rest of the dishes were nothing notable
