Food was mediocre at best--sukiyaki was foamy (read: old beef), hamachi had a strong fishy odor (read: old fish), and drinks were extremely underwhelming. Service was borderline rude. Strip mall sushi bar experience for fine dining prices.

After the ownership change, this place has become a mediocre izakaya. This place no more offers signature dishes such as ishiyaki fish and kamameshi. Its so sad.

I ordered the chicken set. It was super delicious and not too expensive for a Japanese restaurant in the area. The restaurant provides tatami mat seating, but you should call ahead if you want to secure it. The wait was a bit long for the food ~20 minutes, but the platter was well worth the wait. Will definitely be coming back, and trying to get the tatami mat seating for a date!
