Fichte, Endl, & Elmer Eyecare

Great place! Had corrective eye surgery there over 20 years ago and I still do not wear any glasses for up close or far away. I go for my annual check ups and everything is always clean and the workers are friendly. Doctors are always professional and I feel like I did a thorough eye exam.

I can only give one star unfortunately which is not for care, but because I couldn't even manage to get through the "gatekeeper" and actually schedule an appt. The women who answered the Anherst location phone today should not be in scheduling. I had to repeat myself to her numerous times with simple info like a phone number before she got it down. I get vision medical insurance through my employer... she tried to say they didn't accept insurance through the state...really confused I responded and said I do not get insurance through the state! The whole reason I called was because Fichte, Endl and Elmer came up as an in network provider THROUGH MY INSURANCE Company (pretty good insurance too). She hastily said she needed to put me on hold so she could check with someone else, after I already told her my insurance info about 3 more times... waited for awhile.... then I hung up...extremely inconvenient process there for just trying to schedule an appt. And to my suprise... do you think she called me back? Nope.

I have been having trouble seeing distances for about 5 years or so. In that time I have purchased about 7 or 8 paires of glasses and nothing helped. Until I made an appointment with Fichte, Endl an Elmer. In two weeks I got my vision back. Thank you Dr Elmer an your team of experts.
