We had Matt Batista from Patriot Construction come out to give us a quote on roofing and siding back in March. From the very first I felt a familial type connection with him. Matt is very personable and so easy to work with. We told him our needs and what we wanted. He went above and beyond guiding us to have it done right. We had 4 skylights that were at end of life, so he recommended that we replace them before having a new roof installed because if we waited until afterwards we could compromise the integrity of the roof. So we went that route.
The day came for the start of the work which was very exciting. The crew leader was Brian. He and his people were extremely easy to work with. Not one time did they ever make us feel like we couldn’t ask questions or make adjustments as the job went along. We had a complete tear off roof which entailed replacing some of the plywood because of rotting wood. The outcome was so perfect and we are delighted with how our new roof looks.
Next we had our house sided. It took awhile because of supply chain and backed up work issues to get started, but we completely understood that issue. The day came for the siding to start and once again we had a great crew of Billy (crew leader) Earl and Josh. They were so friendly and easy to work with. As the siding work progressed, they came upon an area of wood over a door that has so completely rotted that it was nothing but powder. They stopped the work in that area and had someone come out and look at it to let us know what it would cost to fix. Once the supplies arrived a day or so later, they fixed the area and then proceeded to finishing the siding. We were kept informed of what they were doing to make our house look beautiful and answered every question we had, including asking about making a change here or there. Not one single time were they ever ungracious or hard to work with. They became a regular fixture around here, so when they finished it was odd to not see them everyday.
Next we had to wait for our new gutters to be installed because of supply chain and backlogged jobs, but when they came, they went about their work and now it’s all done!
Matt made a point of checking in with us regularly which was a very nice thing to do.
Our house went from very ugly to very beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
Would we recommend Patriot Construction? You bet your sweet bippy we would!

This company was a NIGHTMARE from beginning to end. As a result of working with Patriot Construction, my kitchen flooring is not level (there is visible bumps in the flooring) and my wood accent, or detail, was chipped off and NEVER brought to my attention. Where, in the world, do they find these people to actually do the work once a contract is created? They took longer than estimated. They did not pay attention to detail. I choose the same flooring design for the laundry and pantry rooms as the kitchen and foyer. The only difference was the color. You would think that they would line up the design so that it would look professional but that didn’t occur to the “professional installers”. I did, however, mention it. I presume I was ignored since it is clearly not lined up or professional looking. After the fact, I thought they would place a guard between the two floorings, they did not. Had I known what skill level the installers were that I was employing, I would have certainly gone elsewhere.
I wouldn’t recommend this company to install the floor in my dogs dog house. I certainly wouldn’t trust them in my home again. Service: Install flooring
