Bowlmor Lanes

Was looking to go bowling with three friends to bowl a game or two. Knowing it was a Saturday night, I assumed there would be "surge pricing". But shocked at the price - $385. Was a two hour minimum and charge for shoes plus $25 person ($100) food and beverage credit, $25 "event" fee (never thought of my lousy bowling as an event) plus tax. Bowling with old bowls and pins , weak drinks and bad nachos the Same price as Dinner and drinks for 4 people at a nice restaurant? Another example of a chain business gouging on an inferior product.

Dishonest and no customer service at the front desk. I bought a Groupon which said I can use anytime other than 6pm on Saturday, yet they refused to honor deal at 1:30pm on Saturday. it was a 2 hour wait for lanes and they said they had a policy that it can't be used after 2pm and it hasn't been updated on Groupon site. They also said they had no flexibility in their system to make any exceptions. In this day and age , lying on an offer and than not having any flexibility to make it right means I will not be going back!

Busy but efficient staff, lanes are showing wear, strings connected to the pins - pins are not free to move, Lobby smelled of weed even though no smoking signs are posted everywhere.
