RUN AS FAR AND AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM RICARDO AND 5 STAR! Five star and Ricardo refinished our hardwood floors in our bedroom about 3 years ago and we were very happy with the job. So, a few months ago, when we wanted to refinish all the hardwood floors on the main level of our home, we reached out to Ricardo. One of the issues we raised with Ricardo was that our piano was in the middle of the living room. Ricardo indicated that they would move it, refinish the area where it was and then when that area was dry, move it back and refinish the temporary location. Sounded about right. But, a week later when we inspected the 3 places where the legs of the piano had rested we noticed that there were bumps and ridges (see attached photo). I called Ricardo on 2 separate occasions and each time he told me that he would come over "next week." That was 5 weeks ago and we have not seen or heard from him. Since then, he has not returned my voice messages (over 10) nor has he responded to my text messages (at least 4). Now we have to hire somebody to fix a problem, be inconvenienced. and spend more money. So, take my advice: RUN AS FAR AND AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM RICARDO AND 5 STAR!!
