Wondering why this place seems to good to be true? Its because it is. They show you the model during the tour, get you to pay the holding, application, and administrative fee. Then, when you see the actual apartment youre supposed to move into, youll be disappointed. Looks and smells old. Doors and windows definitely need to be replaced really bad. The excuse I was told was that the model hasnt been lived in for over 10+ years. Therefore, the tour was unrealistic of what youll actually be staying in. My advice would be to tour the apartment youre moving into first before paying anything or youll be out of $300 just like me!

I lived here for 16 months after moving from Ny. I enjoyed it. I had great neighbors, so I got lucky. I hardly heard them. Staff, Lisa, Lockett and Dustin were all wonderful. I lived in the section behind the pool and loved that I had a nice shared backyard. I swear I was the only one who used it. I met some wonderful tenants and really enjoyed my time there. 2 negatives, the upstairs was either way too hot in the summer or chilly in winter because the windows are so old and in need of replacement. And in the section I lived in, for a few months before i left there was a sewar smell coming from the kitchen. Maintenance and I never found the issue, but other tenants said the same thing. Not sure what it could have been, but it wasn't always there. I had a pup that I would walk around the entire community and I always felt safe, anytime of the day I was walking him. I also loved that knollwood was next to a safe suburban area that i could walk and feel safe. If I ever needed a reason to get back into a townhouse community such as Knollwood I wouldn't hesitate to move back here.
