My first time here and the food is AWESOME! The waitress is a bit chatty but she's fun. The sushi and drinks were phenomenal. Will DEFINITELY be back!

This is the worst Japanese food I have ever had. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was well done and flavorless. My whole plate of food tasted of only soy sauce. I could have bought a bottle of soy sauce and drank it and would have had the same experience as I did eating their food....Except I would have saved about $20. The rice was overcooked and clumpy and my husbands shrimp looked as if it was scraped off the bottom of the pan. Overall I would only suggest Umami if there were no other restaurants open in a 50 mile radius and all the grocery stores, gas stations, and taco trucks were closed.
