The Growing Years Learning Centers (Burlington, NC)

Do not bring your child here!! My infant was enrolled less than a year and we had issue after issue. The admin does not hold teachers accountable. I watched a teacher hold my son's head face down because he wasn't going to sleep. I watched another teacher not give my son lunch. I left work to pick up my son and feed him. After alerting the director what I had seen on their cameras, they asked the teacher and of course she said that didn't happen. They refused to look back on camera and chose to back an adult that should not be responsible for children. My son was kicked out less than a week after me complaining. I thought my son would be safer at a daycare with cameras that I could monitor. But when the admin does not hold the teachers accountable for their actions, they don't believe the parents, and they refuse to check when they have the evidence. This daycare was extremely traumatic for my son and for my family. My son started acting out because of the treatment he was getting. He's a one-year-old and when he watches teachers push the students and be rough with the students, he naturally is going to behave how he sees adults behaving. Since we have left this daycare and found one that actually cares, he has had no behavior issues. I would not wish this experience on any other family or child.

Easily the best choice for Childcare in Burlington. As a working Mom it's so important to be comfortable with your daycare and TGY makes it so easy. Tameka is one of the best teachers out there but really every person in that building is amazing. Andrea, Casey and Iman are some of my daughter's favorite people.

We just love the growing years. I have 2 there. Ms. Temeka and Ms. Casey in infants are amazing and truely love all of the babies as their own. Mine lights up when he sees them. And Ms Emily and Ms Lisa in the purple room are fantastic. My little one has grown so much in their class. She loves her class and loves learning. I love all of the pictures and updates I get each say. The information is invaluable. We even love our floaters they all really take the time to get to know our children and love on them.

We love TGY! They were our first choice for daycare and we are so happy with our experience. Ms. Tameka is fantastic and very engaging with the kids. We have had a positive experience with everyone we have had the pleasure of interacting with. They do so many extracurricular activities and crafts and everyone is involved and excited to be there.

I called The Growing Years to inquire about pricing to enroll my daughter a while back. I spoke with Zenobia and she was very knowledgeable about the daycare and was able to answer all of my questions
