    I had homeowner’s insurance on our primary residence, secondary residence, and both autos. Shortly after closing on the secondary residence I received a notice from the carrier requesting pictures of the home. This was no problem. We had pictures on our home inspection report and appraisal. The notice stated to contact Sun Valley since they were my agent. I did so. After three messages and a couple of weeks of waiting for a response, I was told that they didn’t see anything flagged and not to worry about it. Fast forward 11 months later and we received another letter stating that our homeowners insurance was being canceled in two weeks. We started calling Sun Valley right away. Two days before the policy expired someone from Sun Valley called us back. He stated he would call the carrier and let us know what was happening. He never called back. We called Sun Valley every other day at first, then everyday. We could only speak to the answering service. We reached out to the carrier, they said he had called them the day before which was the day the policy expired. We continued to call Sun Valley (WE NEVER GOT A RESPONSE). Still haven’t a month later. We can no longer be insured on this home through normal means because we’ve had a lapse in coverage. This has caused a banking issue as well since we have a mortgage on the home. Sun Valley is a horrible company with people who honestly don’t care about you. They only care about your money. We are also reporting them to the department of insurance. Hopefully, this review helps anyone considering this company.

    Place is a joke!!! Lie after lie after lie. Never can get in touch with them. Even had the DMV call them cause I said my insurance company is impossible to get in touch with so she gave them a call and guess what? Johns on the other line with someone after I just called and the secretary said he was at the hospital with his dad but John told me before his dad had dies so I don’t know but I def would not recommend this place.

    If I could give them a zero I would. Do not do business with this agency you will regret it!! Do not return phone calls, don't communicate with the customer and when I cancelled my policy took almost 3 weeks for them to even request the cancellation. Don't ask for contact information for the companies they represent they will just hang up on you! Very unprofessional and rude!
