image The staff here are unprofessional, disrespectful, and degrading. My fiance had an appointment for 10am, she had an unexpected death in the family and we called 3 times from 8:30-9am and received no answer. While we were at the hospital they called at 10:06am which we didnt answer because we were dealing with doctors in regards to the family death. The last thing anyone would be worried about at that time is an appointment. Especially when we called 3 times and received no answer. When she called back in the afternoon the receptionist very rudely (after my fiance explained and obviously struck a nerve by saying no one answered the 3 calls) told her shed check with the dentist to see if he WANTED to reschedule her. When they were the ones who didnt answer the phone. While waiting in the waiting room the previous day they let several people stand there waiting to be checked in while they spent their time chatting and cackling behind the front desk. Maybe if theyd do their job instead of socializing at work then they would have answered one of the 3 calls. We plan on gladly finding a new dentist and will make sure everyone we know has knowledge of the sorry excuse for professionalism they call a dentist office. The real loser here is the dentist because not only will he continue losing business but his staff are painting him as a fool because theyre a direct representation of him and the office.

image I've been coming here since I was a child and I've almost always had good experiences. I mainly want to say that Dr. Bates here is just the absolute best dentist I've ever had to pull teeth. I will recommend him time and time again.

image Very Disappointed . About a month ago I waited for 45 minutes and had to leave they call that a missed appointment. Then I started a new job had to miss because of that. They dont even try to listen. The front Desk worker is always rude.

image Where do I begin here? I was referred to this office because my preferred Dr. in Lenoir had trouble numbing the area that needed work on. He wouldn't go past numbing me 3 times as it was crossing his own comfort level. He referred me to Dr. Murphy because this office offered alternative forms of numbing.
Turns out, Dr. Murphy did not find it fit to try an alternative numbing and yet he also had trouble numbing this area by the usual method, just as my Dr. in Lenoir did. He injected the numbing medicine 4-5 times in the same area before he could work on this filling after I explained to him why I was there to begin with. Okay, perfect and fine. However, 4 weeks go by and the right side of my tongue is STILL completely numb AND I cannot eat anything on the right side of my mouth due to sensitivity and soreness. I am thinking "I have nerve issues". Okay. I go back to the Dr. by the end of 5 or 6 weeks of feeling numbness, hoping he will see me and give me some advise as to what is going on. I am sitting there for an hour, only to talk to the nurse and not see the Dr. She was denying the fact that he numbed me 4 times and her advise was to use mouth wash. She gave me 2 sample packets of mouth wash and sent me on the way.
That was last July. This is one year later.
After that experience, I have been dealing with sensitivity to this filling and after all this time, the Dr.'s office is trying to collect MORE MONEY WHEN I ALREADY PAID IN FULL the bill. The receptionist said that what I paid was simply an estimate of what would be owed. Now ain't that something? The person on the phone was also saying I should have come in sooner and not waited year. Hold on a second, Do you think I wanted anything to do with them after this experience? HECK NO! Heck no, heck no heck no.
Not the best experience to say the least. Going to the dentist is hard enough but when you have to deal with an office that is APATHETIC to you and the services they did not provide (basic standard of care), that makes it all the more difficult.
