Amanda did the most awesome job for us as a buyer's agent for our relocation from Raleigh. I'm certain she would do a superlative job as a listing agent, too. She was made for MADE to be a real estate agent and I thank God we got her. Right off the bat she impressed us by showing us a couple of homes on a Sunday evening on rather short notice (please don't take advantage of her!). Over the course of nearly two months she showed us a number of homes and not being able to lock in on the "right" one was frustrating and exhausting for us, but she was very patient. It was clear to us that she had our interests in mind, getting to know us and our wants. I never ever got the feeling she was ever trying to sell us a house simply to make money. For example, on several occasions she would point out either flaws or drawbacks just to make sure we went in eyes wide open. Based on her experience, she was able to give us price ranges for home values/offers, but was never ever pushy. We even put down an offer on an expensive (to us) home and withdrew our offer after the due diligence period and she never made us feel bad, even though the home we eventually bought was considerably less. To the contrary, she was so genuinely happy for us and helped us so much along the way until the very end. Now more....she is very savvy and helped us by giving us a strategy to win the house that had competitive offers. She was so professional, researching/understanding homes before we viewed them and showed up with printouts of backup information. I remember one time when we were about to view a house that we really thought we wanted, she printed out the HOA covenants because she knew they might not be for us (and she was right!!!). She went the extra mile for us during the due diligence period, for example, by recommending an awesome team of inspectors, etc. She came to our primary inspections and wanted to make sure we weren't getting a house with "problems." She was ready to go to bat for us and had strategies already in mind to help if we were to get sideways with a low appraisal or adverse home inspections. She is as kind as they come, but able to maintain Grace Under Pressure, even when personally did not!!!!! We are now in our dream home and have Amanda to thank for it!

To save on reading, I will immediately tell you that Amanda Purvis is the way to go for all of your real estate needs whether its buying or selling. Not only did she help me purchase my most recent property but she also helped me sell it and had the utmost professionalism with her client's best interest at the forefront. She is very knowledgeable in the field and she answered all of my questions promptly and if she did not know the answer (which was rare) she made certain to find the answer with swiftness. She makes the experience personal and you not only gain an agent, but you also gain a friend. At no point in my experience did I feel like I was alone because her communication is above and beyond as she makes herself available to her client 24/7 and even when shes off-duty. I will always recommend Amanda Purvis and the Pam Baumgardner real estate group to my friends and family because I know from firsthand experience that they will be taken care of. Just closed on the sale of our home in Trent woods, Newbern, NC. Can't imagine a better sale process. Pam's team handled this beautifully. Great communication and a very good 'read' on the market. Pam is in this with all her heart so you are well taken care of. Thanks Pam!! We got a great price and the inspection/closing terms could not have been better!!!
