        they are sending a letter for a subscription to a dead lady. If I don't respond to them they are going to send her the newspaper anyway! I tried the number on the letter and got a person in the Phillipines. I find it funny that on the website they have a section for buy local, yet their customer service is off shore. They refused to send me to a US agent. I was goint to fax them the letter with a note that she is dead. No fax number. No anything.

        I was made to feel that they do not care about their customers and definitely do not give service when requested; they are not the caring hometown newspaper that they used to be, that's too bad, and I am canceling my subscription!
